It feels strange writing this, knowing how words could never capture everything you mean to me, but I’m going to try anyway. You’re not just a best friend—you’re a life feature, a constant upgrade to my existence, a subscription I never want to cancel.
When we first met, I never thought I’d be writing something like this. In fact, I thought of unsubscribing from “Ayep Version 1.0” because, let’s be honest, we didn’t exactly sync well. But you, relentless as always, kept debugging our friendship with your passion, kindness, and sheer determination. You didn’t let me go, even when I didn’t know I needed someone like you.
The Ayeply I know today is the ultimate product of growth. You’ve evolved from someone who shared lecture notes like a corporate whistleblower to someone who shares her heart, her time, and her unwavering belief in the people she loves. You showed up for me when I relapsed—no questions, no judgment, just care. You reminded me of my worth when I couldn’t see it myself.
Sometimes you worried about things. Your future, your capability, and failures. But let me tell you this, Ayeply: You are more than enough. You are the kind of friend people write Netflix series about, the kind of designer who makes the world not just prettier but better. You take life’s bugs and glitches and turn them into lessons, making yourself and those around you stronger for it.
It hurts knowing you’re so far away now, pursuing your master’s and building a life in the UK. I hate that you’re not here for my impulsive rants or our long discussions about why the world is a mess. I cry sometimes, not because I’m not proud of you, but because I’m selfish. I miss you. I want Ayeply next-day delivery, but you’re out there being brave, and I love you for it (eww).
As the new year rolls in, I want to tell you how much I hope 2025 becomes your best chapter yet. I hope you find success in all the ways you’ve dreamed of—and in ways you never expected. I hope your designs change lives, inspire people, and remind you why you fell in love with creativity in the first place.
But most importantly, I hope you find moments of pure joy—whether it’s from finishing a challenging project, discovering a cozy corner in a bakery, or simply knowing how much you are loved by those of us cheering you on from afar.
Regarding failure, here’s the thing: Ayeply can fail. You fail because you can. Because if you don't, we wouldn't have an Ayeply Premium. You might take your time, might hit a few errors along the way, but quitting isn’t part of your code. I see the way you light up when you talk about design, how you believe of the end products. I know you’re going to carve a place in this world that’s entirely yours, and it’ll be breathtaking.
So here’s my forever subscription review:
Ayeply is not perfect, but she’s perfect for me. She’s a mix of late-night pep talks, sarcastic burns, and deep, meaningful connections. She’s the friend I didn’t know I needed and the one I can’t imagine life without.
I don’t care where you go, how far you are, or what timezone you’re in—I’ll always be rooting for you, Ayep. Every line of code, every design pixel, every moment of my existence has been better because of you.
Happy New Year, Ayep. May this year bring you the clarity, strength, and triumph you’ve always deserved. You’ve got this—I’ve never doubted it for a second.
Disgustingly loving,
